QUALIFICATIONS

I have studied music since the age of six, beginning with violin until I was twelve, then taking up guitar.  I formed my first band, Lefty, at fifteen, and played clubs in Charlotte (Tremont Music Hall, Milestone, Pterodactyl, 1313) for the next six years.

 

While in Asheville, I played steady gigs with several cover bands in local clubs and formed two groups on my own.  Since my senior year, I have been teaching private lessons.  I am currently teaching at the Guitar Workshop in Davidson, NC. 

 

COMPOSITION

Scores for WolfTales (a children’s rock musical), The Brink of Disaster (a rock and roll burlesque) and Paradise Lost (ballet); also copious music for original groups Lefty and After School Special.
